Boots And Coats For Children

THANK YOU for donating! We were able to provide boots and coats to over 600 children, plus offer emotional and spiritual support for them.

Vulnerability and suffering arise from the complex emotional, social, physical and spiritual effects of disasters. With that in mind, our partners also provided emotional health care to the children affected by the traumas of war, displacement or violence. Activities included:  

  •  Reading and performing the story of the birth of Jesus— Jesus was born in a manger and he was a refugee with his family in Egypt;
  •  Learning verses from the Bible;
  •  Playing games;
  •  Learning christian songs;
  • Performing dramatic sketches with childrensharing the good news with the children who come from different backgrounds (Muslim and Christian).
